Introduction
TONI&GUY Hairstyling Academy - Arizona is one of the leading cosmetology schools in the U.S. Enjoying the brand cache' and support of the global megabrand, TONI&GUY, and offering the most innovative and proven curriculum available, TGHA is head and shoulders above their competition. That becomes self-evident when a prospective student actually tours the facilities and interviews with a counselor (90% of the time, if a prospective student goes on an in-person site tour they register to attend). Given this reality, TGHA was faced with the challenge of increasing the number of site tours to increase the number of registrations.

Strategy
TGHA turned to Mindspace to develop a virtual experience that would convey the excitement and fun of attending their academy, as well as paint a picture of what the future could hold for the student. Mindspace pushed the limits and built a FLASH-based site that incorporated all facets of multimedia.

Projects
The site features lots of custom video shot by Mindspace at the academy and interviews with owners, instructors, and students. In short order, a visitor to the site is able to get a very clear glimpse into what differentiates TGHA from its competitors and see him/herself at the academy.

Results
With weeks, the fast-paced, alluring, and dynamic site had already begun to have a major impact for TGHA. Website visits are up significantly, and the calendar for on-site visits has filled to capacity. In a short amount of time, TGHA elevated their 'face' to prospects from a rather mundane 'brochureware' site to a much more attractive and effective 'experiential' one that's a cut above the competition.
